Victorinox/Wenger 2014 New products?

The brands have merged under Victorinox. Some of these knives were Wenger models and have now been incorporated to the Victorinox line-up:

That's really too bad. I never really got into Wenger but I'd like to see the name stick around in the knife world. I hope they keep making Wenger's version of the One Handed SAK. Those things look like beasts and I never did pick one up yet.

I really hope that Vic continues to make the Wenger style models that have the push button locking blade. Those are so cool! I bought one for a friend for Christmas and went back a few weeks later to buy me one and they where all gone.

The one thing that I did not like about the wenger model that I bought my friend was the Awl. It was not sharpened at all. Just a metal point.

Franciscomv I could not get your link to work.

I actually like the awl on Wengers for some jobs, when working with cordage or fixing saddles a sharpened awl can damage threads.

The link I posted is from the Victorinox website, there's a section called "New Arrivals".

I have looked all over Vics website. All of the new arrivals sections I found was on the luggage and clothing lines.

Do they have any new products listed?

wow thats one good looking SAK.

lol I am still not seeing it. I am in Georgia, USA I do not know if that has anything to do with it. Are you in the USA?

I'm not in the US (thought my English was a dead give away :D ). I clicked on both the links you posted, and that's the exact same website I got the picture from. Just go to "Swiss Army Knives" on the menu bar (next to "Cutlery", "Time Pieces" and so on). When you place your pointer there you'll get several options under "Categories", click on "New Arrivals".

Your screen shot is diffrent than what I am looking at. I was doing the same thing as you but it's not giving the New Arrivals option.

This is weird.

Maybe you could try www.victorinox.com/ch

Victorinox has a different policy for each country or region, and doesn't release everything in every country. I was an authorized dealer for a while and I remember my catalogue being quite different from that of US dealers, in fact I sometimes swapped models with a colleague in the States. For instance, down here in Argentina models with phillips drivers in the back like the Hiker, Tinker and so on, are not usually available since everybody prefers corkscrews (we like our wine). Some of the alox models aren't available either, but we did get a ton of GAKs (new and old) and stuff like that.

I've been looking on YouTube and couldn't find a good Victorinox booth review. They probably aren't coming out with anything ground breaking, but it would still be interesting to see.

This was sent to me by Vics customer service. I asked if their was a new 2014 production list.

I am planing on going to blade Show this year June 2014 and hopefully I will get to play with their new products their.

Thank you for contacting Victorinox Swiss Army.

Unfortunately there is not a list to send however all of our proucts can be seen on Swissarmy, com

We will have a new collection coming out in May that can also been viewed on our website during that time.
