victorinox

I agree, they are great Swiss-made knives. One of the best knife values out there. I've got several and I love them all.

Check out Wenger too. I believe Wenger and Victorinox are now owned by the same parent company. Slightly shorter and fatter than their Victorinox counsins in the classic designs, but the scissors and can opener are better, in my opinion.

Between the classic designs, the newer one-handed Vic models and Ranger series from Wenger, they've got something for everyone.

These days, 99% of the time, there is a Vic SAK in my pocket. Right now? A Classic.

They are phenomenal knives. And that's coming from a "knife snob."

They're great knives, and I believe everybody should have at least one. They sell them just about everywhere now.....Target, WalMart, CVS etc..

I Live in England. Many of the models are uk legal . I personally have victorinox Huntsman at present, ideal mix of useful tools and edc ability.Well worth having on your person, to cater for any unforseen situations. Just great knives. Come to think of it , the quality control is amazing too. Enjoy making your selection. Faron

I guarantee you will want more than just one after you carry one for a while. I keep a classic on my keychain and alternate a larger knife for my "working knife". My most recent purchase was a Victorinox Tinker "Wabenmuster". It's a rubberized version of the classic Tinker design and I like it a lot!

Could you elaborate on this please ?

Hi TWIN STICK. The knife laws in the UK are quite strict. A few of the requiriments to be on the right side of the law when carrying a knife in a public place in uk are as follows. [1 ]A good reason to be carrying a knife in the first place .[ 2 ]Non locking blade. [ 3 ] blade cutting edge must be less than 3 inches in length. I am sure there are pages and pages of relevent law reguarding this , which could expand ones knoledge on the subject. This is why swiss army knives are popular uk legal carry knives . I hope this helps somewhat in this matter. All the best Faron. Ps NOTE IN PUBLIC PLACE , NOT IN YOUR OWN HOME /RESIDENCE .CHEERS

I never really cared for them, now i dont leave home without one......Older and wiser...................................FES

if i can only use knives from one manufacture for the rest of my life, they would be victorinox.

Excellent quality control, great prices, massive selection. I always carry a Vic Alox Soldier in uniform, and it comes in handy all the time. I have an Alox classic on my EDC keyring (the Vic, a small flashlight, and a split pea lighter), which goes with me everywhere.

I think they are excellent knives. The quality consistency is amazing, especially considering the very low prices.

Honest though I never paid too much attention them before. Then I started buying a few here-and-there on closeout. Now I'm a huge fan.

I never leave some without my Swisstool Spirit X. Pliers!!!!!!! and it fits easily in the front left pocket of my Levi's.

Victorinox SAK's are very well made despite being mass produced.

I just bought an Explorer today...
