This is the first knife I've finished from Transition Damascus.
I was influenced by J.R. Cook.
I finished off the hot-blued Transition Damascus of laddered Ws and laddered Random with wrought iron take-down fittings and a Koa Handle.

That is REALLY nicely done transition Damascus...and I think the wrought sets it off beautifully:thumbup:

Of course, I love the Koa handle, but I'm particularly taken with the way the longitudinal "wave" in the Koa echoes the transition line of the blade...
