So how would you rate it Jim compared to your other Mistress's on a 1 to 10 scale. You know in order of chopping ability, weight, length, ect. Thanks pretty cool.

I would say:

NMFBM
FFBM
Basic 11 / CGFBM
BWM

Wow, that is great to hear. It chops as good as a CGFBM and weighs a LOT less. Perfection!:cool::cool:

I would say it's very close, but WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY better than the BWM...

They aren't even on the same planet IMO. :)

It's the balance on the Basic 11 that makes it so effective, it chops way better than it's weight would make you think. :)

The sweet spot is way out towards the end of the blade too like the NMFBM. :D

I have a comparison video uploading now of the BWM, Basic 11 and NMFBM.

Just comparing size, weight and talking about each knife.

It would be cool to get a "stroke count" on that same landscape timber using the same bracing and angle, and chopping through it with the NMFBM and the BWM, for the most direct possible comparison. Easy for me to say, I know. :D

But quantitatively, it WOULD be very interesting.

Thanks. :D

I will make another one tomorrow, then one the next day using the NMFBM and BWM.

I love this stuff. can't get sick of seeing INFI being used!!! Please don't ever stop making vids Ank!

Thanks. :D

I am interested in videos of the three knives chopping the same board....that would be sweet! Of cousre they would have to be equally sharp;)
