Video comparison of the Bk9, some Ontarios, and a Kukri!

Really nice!

Thank You.

And those Khukris, oh my God!
Wondering, where BK21 will be placed.

Although he needs this fluffy thing on his mic.

Endel.

Thanks! Always nice to see the King in action.

That Khukri was amazing. I'm going to bet that Khukri blade is thicker and substantially more heavy than the rest of those.

Cool video! That last kukri is crazy, what a beast.

I hold my bk9 at the butt of the grip, three fingers in front of the lanyard hole and the pinky behind. Probably not the best hold but I start out holding it normal and I just end up holding it that way. For me it chops much better this way, better than my other choppers too and since the grip is fairly comfortable to me, I don't worry about it.

I can hardly wait for the bk21 to come out, I think it will be great at chopping. But for now the bk9 is king of my choppers.

The small khukuri is over .25" thick, but weighs only 1oz and change more than the Becker, and it is the middle weight knife of this competition, being MUCH lighter than the Sp10 or the RTAK II.

When the bk21 Comes out I will be doing a kukri competition in similar fashion... THAT will be VERY interesting!

I have chopped with two and three fingers before... Sometimes it just feels right to me, and sometimes it doesn't. Idk why. But one thing is for sure, in my opinion, and knife like this needs a lanyard, and i am slacking!

Cold one, how does your sp10 perform?

Not bad, nice weight and stabby but doesn't seem to bite as deep as my bk9. My bk9 and camp 10 run neck in neck , both making nice chips, the sp10 is just as sharp but I think the grind keeps it from biting as deep. I favor the bk9 as I feel it is more versatile then the others.

Yeah, I was having a terrible time with the sp10. I really liked the knife, and it has been used a good bit. But I think that between the grind geometry and the weight distribution, the knife just isn't cutting it.
In my next review I did batoning. The sp10 was the only knife to beat the crap out of my hand.

That was great... Thank you. I've never used a Kukri before. I never thought that the angle of the handle and blade would lend itself to chopping.

And I have sympathy pains in my right arm.
