I know what they can do as I have been using them for a very long time, they are very tough knives. :D

VG-1 is excellent steel. :thumbup:
 
i'm headed down to my buddy wholesaler to get a 4 in. vg1 to teat against the spyderco vg10, probably do cardboard. i'll count the in.cut on 275 lb. crush test cardboard & let the forum know results. if the vg1 cuts close i'll be surprised.as usual ankerson i love your videos.

Make sure you redo the factory edge on it before the testing as you know how factory edges are. :D

I reprofiled mine to 15 degrees per side. ;)
