jim i think for a light weight folder the c.s. did great. one would hardly expect this hard use in the boonies. c.s. vg1 is a really decent alloy. my cardboard cutting tests & use in the kitchen show these knives to be a good value for the buck, thanks for the video dennis

I did it as a contol video and a warning not to do these tests on a standard lock back. :)

Really I wouldn't recommend to any of the tests on any folder unless one whats to risk damage to the knife or themselves.

I am a long time fan of the CS Voyagers. I have used them for years. The thing I like most about them is their light weight. You can carry a big 4" or even 5" blade that weighs little in your pocket. I have used them for years with no failures and even did some light chopping with one. They aren't as fancy or overbuilt as some of my "nicer" more expensive framelocks like the Skirmish or ZT301, but they are quite strong for their weight. Thanks for showing us what not to do with one.:D  I think the fact that the knife didn't break completely is a testament to the surprising strength of the Voyager.
