Here you go, a video of me having fun without everyone! This sport is a ton of fun and I'd love to have you guys (and gals) out there with me. The entire shooting sport community is very welcoming to newcomers, come give it a try!

So, on to the free stuff. I've picked up a few free AR mags at the last couple of matches and I'd like to pass them on to someone who could use them. Two are Troy Industries and two are Lancer Industries. I've recently switched mags from Magpul to Lancer and I think they make a great product. Just post something patriotic as a reply and I'll pick a random winner after I compete in the FNH 3-Gun match September 19-21st. I'll ship the mags to you and even break them down in to rebuild kits if you are in a state that plays that way.

Please remember, patriotic doesn't mean political!

What kind of gear are you shooting there? What kind of optic on your rifle?

Very cool! Not part of the give away but would like to know what the pistol was. 22+ shots on some mags? Almost looked like a Glock. F&N 5.7??

Wow you did amazing!!! Great give away :D It looks like that would be so much fun!

I'm running a Springfield XDm 5.25 9mm that was custom built by Rich at Canyon Creek Customs. The factory XDm 9mm magazines will hold 19 rounds. I add Dawson Precision Tool-less base pads and get 3-4 more rounds depending on the "personality" of the mag and spring. I could switch out to Grams followers and get another round or two in the mags putting me at 24 rounds in a magazine.

I generally dislike striker fired guns, but this one built with Rich's magic is an exception. I keep trying to convince myself that I really NEED an SVI sight tracker, or a 2011 built by Benny Hill or Akai customs, but the XDm runs so well that I just can't leave it. Well, that and I don't have $4k to fork over for another pistol right now!

Who wants to go shoot? We'll have some really cool side matches going at the FNH match at the Peace Maker training facility in West Virginia. Tomahawk throwing will be part of one of them... Of course, it will be a Kill Devil Sniper hawk. Come on out! It's a blast.

The rifle is something that I built with mostly Seekins Precision parts. It's a 16" mid length gas set up on a CMMG cold hammer forged barrel. I have a 18" JP CTR-02 that I run if the match has more long shots and less hoser style AR shooting. I'm waiting on a Lancer 3 Gun Outlaw that is being built for me right now. I think it's going to be just right, it has a 17" barrel and is built to be light and fast while still having the stability to make longer shots. My 16" gun has a Leupold Mk6 1-6 with the 5.56 reticle and my 18" has a US Optics SR8 1-8 with the C2 reticle. I absolutely love the Leupold. The USO is great too, but it's a bit heavy for me and is more glass than I need on a gaming gun. I'd like to try the Swarovski Z6i, but it's a chunk of change. I've also used the Vortex 1-6 and really like it. I think for the $$$, the Vortex is the scope to have.

The Shotgun is a Benelli M2 that was built by Taran Butler at Taran Tactical. Having a shotgun that runs will keep you sane in this game. I went through a couple of different ones before biting the bullet and getting a built M2. No regrets!

Good to hear that you are running an XD. That is most likely what I will be using if I go ahead and jump into the 3gun game.

Use to have the XD myself in .40. loved the gun. Only handgun that made me put the M&P down.

Good luck on you match!

This is not an entry, but here is something patriotic.

Nice shooting!

Great shooting!
I just joined A3G yesterday, the Texas A&M 3-Gun Collegiate group! I have been wanting to get into 3gun for a long time but it was out of my budget, until I found out about A3G. Have tryouts next month and start shooting this weekend!

Great shooting! Fantastic idea for a giveaway, good luck to everyone who participates.

Sweet giveaway. In, thanks!

Oh beautiful for spacious skies for amber waves of grain?
