So I was reading a post by another member who said that he was making a knife that reminded him of something from assassin's creed. Well a while back I made a knife like object that was inspired by that game so I thought I'd post it to see what you guys thought.

The knife is made of an old leaf spring that I'm pretty sure is 5160. About 1/4 inch thick, and about 7 inches over all length. I made an attempt at electro-etching a design in the handle, but was less than successful.

The real question is, do you guys think I should remake it in 1084 give it a decent ht and the whole deal? I'm pretty sure I could do a better job on it this time, as I've gained quite a bit of knowledge just lurking!

There were no cars in AC = fail.

Just playin, that's pretty cool! The work looks straight and clean. If it were me I wouldn't re-make it simply because I wouldn't have much actual use for the knife, but as a design exercise I think it's sweet.

I have noticed a few people wanting knives that originate from video games. Fallout seems pretty popular, as well as the Call of Duty and other military based franchises. I've seen a number of "distressed" folders (usually involving acid/oxi clean) to give the knife a beat-up look.

All in good fun.
