Video is Finished (Almost)

Marya and I are at the video lab and we're adding the credits! That means that the video is pretty much finished. We have a local dubbing company ready to dub a few hundred copies that we'll be in a position to ship well before Christmas. Stay tuned to the forum (or our new newsletter) for ordering details.

BTW, if you have any trouble figuring out what to do with all this newfound spare time you were putting into the movie project, we forumites can help you with that...right here.

Actually, no advanced orders. We do the final screening today - edit in the credits. Then, the digital master is off to the dubbing house for a run of about 200 to meet the Christmas demand. I'd expect you to be able to watch the video in your home as soon as next Tuesday night (assuming next day air or in your case, ground since you live close by our office).

This has been a very long but very rewarding experience making the video. You'll see by the quality that we did right by the bishwakarmas on this project. Each copy will only be second generation - which means almost NO picture quality loss. We have been using digital format all along, so there's been NO loss in quality whatsoever. We're picking the best quality dubbing house we can find with the newest machines so the copies you buy will be crisp and clean.

I'm at the video house right now. We're just cleaning up the titles. Looks like we'll dump to digital master today!!!!!! A long awaited day on both sides of the world.
