  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Video: Is this knife abuse?

Not abuse at all. If you were using a sledgehammer and were chopping a steel pipe, that would be abuse! ;)

looks like good technique to my lazy eye, I normally just find a smaller piece :)

but, no, not abuse more like using it for what it's for

Thanks for the comments fellas. The blade did awesome, felt really good in hand. Cut's like a champ! I was extra careful, keeping the wood handle away from the log and baton.

That's not abuse, that's showing it some love.:)
That's also a good way to break down logs if a shorter blade is all you have.

If it was a folder or a lesser knife it would be abuse. John made and heat treated it. It's normal use for a JK.
Thanks for sharing, it's great seeing these blades used properly.
