I got my Sprint run this morning.

I did a little video with some close up shots and a comparison with the standard Manix 2.

The rougher G10 handle is nice, and I'm amazed by the weight reduction, over an ounce!

How much of the weight difference do you think was caused by the lanyard?

I'm expecting my Manix in the post soon, I can't wait!

Almost none. I just put one the same size on the sprint run, it's weight it for you. On my scale it went up from 4.23 to 4.26. Which is effectively nothing.
 
Joben: Great video — thank you for that. I just bought one of these sprint runs today.

I never got around to buying a sprint run before and I am really looking forward to this.
 
I think you were right about it being saber ground, technically. I guess most hollow grinds have a saber-like shoulder by definition.
 
joben - all FFG sprints runs have skeletonized liners, not just this one. I don't know if the pink does or not.
 
Does anyone know how much lighter it is then the other sprint run manix's like the foliage green or orange one?
 
I knew it felt lighter! I didn't even notice that my regular Manix 2 didn't have skeletonized liners until now. Wow do they make a difference!

I wonder though, how much does the sprint run give up in legendary Manix toughness by going with the sekeltonized liners?
 
I am waiting as well, just ordered from W&W on Friday. Should be here this week. I have the first Carpenter sprint as well.
