I finally broke down and bought a decent video camera, a Canon HF G10. My question - is there a way to save the video by burning to HD DVD or Blue Ray? My understanding is that the technology isn't quite there yet, and if I save to DVD, I'll lose a lot of fidelity. For now, I can back up to my PC, but long term, that's not going to work - too much data!
