This knife is performing extremely well. I've reground the but also so that the blade holds well in a reverse grip.. the INFI edge is very very clean.. beautiful steel.

Looks good. You did a nice job with that one. I recently picked up a sus scrofa and i'm still not quite sure what this blade shape is meant for. I seem to see a lot of people changing the shape, so i suppose i'm not alone, but I haven't given up on the standard hawkbill shape yet :)

Just get the characters in the address bar AFTER the "=" sign and then do (youtube) and (/youtube) around them (substituting [ for ( of course.)

Voila!

All that other stuff you have in there isn't working.

i have an LE untouched also. the scrofa is just an awesome slicing cutting utility knife.. take it camping, or kitchen. or leatherworking. cut lots of rope

Makes for a great slicer of a lot of media.

I am one who had one and modded it. I took the reverse curve out, and convexed the edge and stripped it.

One area where it lost some performance after the mod was cutting Zip Ties. It took more effort (even thought the edge was sharp and polished convex). That reverse curve toward the tip just really helped in cutting things like that. Rope was another thing that it excelled at (that and straps).

As is, the SS is an ideal rescue knife. Great seat belt cutter. The tail makes breaking windows easy (not that I have broken a lot of windows, both plain and tempered glass windows in my time.....:D, windshields are the hardest due to the safety layer of tough plasticy stuff).

Where you give up performance in the original design is in food prep, because the edge in the middle cannot cut flat to the surface you are cutting on.

I would for sure like another. I moved mine to fund another knife (listed 4 and which ever 2 sold first would cover the KZII).

I would love another release with a slightly modified design. More boss street handle ish, with a taller blade from edge to spine, and a straight edge. A bit like a mini Sus bred with a Santoko style.

Less to no drop in the handle so it works better for general food prep and flat cutting on solid surface.

If wishes were fishes........

thanks for the comments. I doubt i'll ever mess with the blade shape. It will likely get tossed in my pack when my cabs comes :)
