Interesting and unfortunate about the lettering on the blade. I went back and looked at the Benchmade site - it doesn't seem to be clear at all which side they consider "front" and "back." I keep toying with the idea of ordering one because I like the darker blue scales, but the production knives only come with the powder blue. The stiff action should be adjustable via pivot tension and a drop of oil on the pivot washers. Let us know what Benchmade says about your inquiry?

Well, I spoke with Benchmade (Ryan) and he's redoing the blade and sending me one overnight. I should have no problem swaping out the blades.

So apparently I'll have the replacement blade tomorrow. You just can't ask for better customer service than that. :thumbup:

Fascinating, and great result. I'm surprised they would allow a user blade replacement. Anyway, great work. :thumbup:
