Video review of the Small Forest Axe.

Agreed, nice video

Picked one up myself and have yet to test it out, though I am still impressed with its quality!

I got my first Gransfors Bruks Small Forest Axe this morning & i must say WOW i'm really impressed with the fit & finish, this axe is really sharp!

i'll try the GB SFA & the Wetterlings LHA this afternoon side by side.

Outstanding, incredible how the SFA works well!
I'll sell my Iltis ox-head 24'' & buy the Gränsfors Bruks Scandinavian Forest Axe for sure!

Good, no nonsense review, the GB's really give an appreciation of just how good a tool can be.

I'd read about them, seen the vids and pics, but when your own axe arrives in the mail, its "Wow!" time! It certainly was for me, and I've only got the Mini.

The Mini looks really nice as well. I had one of the small Vaughans, but the tiny eye made me worry about breaking it. It reminded me more of a tack hammer than a hatchet. The Mini has a much thicker handle, and I personally would be a little more comfortable with it. The steel on the GB is much harder too, which is nice.
