Video Review - Schrade Extreme Survival - SCHF9

Looks like a good blade, and just a hair over $30. Might get one just for the heck of it. I hate that type of sheath but pretty much all survival/outdoors knives come with it and this is half the cost of a lot of them.

He has some real good videos. Filled with all the details needed and excellent video quality.
Thanks

Wow I have to say. I am impressed with the Schrade Extreme Survival knife. It is 1095, 1/4" thick, comes with a decent nylon sheath, has a slight re-curve profiled blade, has a small removable pouch on the front and the pouch has a belt loop and it is only $34 with free shipping on amazon. For that price and what it is I might have to try it out. But I wonder how good the heat treat is?
Once again I am impressed.

It's been three years since this knife went into production and I am still always curious to hear other people's opinions of it.

Thanks for the support Trent, and I'm glad you like the knife!

They are a beast, one BIG knife!

And with just a little effort, the sheath insert can be flipped to make a southpaw sheath! :)

Well...I was tasked with designing a knife I honestly felt would stand up to some extreme survival :)

Yeah, I was surprised they used a rivet instead of a binding post, but it's easy to pop out and replace.
