Nice review, I like the visual overview of the knife. There wasn't a lot available on it before I bought mine. I think the jimping on the handle is unanimously mysterious. I don't think anyone knows what's going on with it.

The texture on the G10 is really just machine tooling marks from the milling process. If you look closely you can see the circular patterns where the mill heads span.

Also, the clip gets pretty scratched and faded rather quickly. This is after 10 months of daily EDC

Doesn't really show well on the photo, but it's just more of the metalic color than the black coating now, with scratches in the coating. The metal is still very smooth though.

Anyway, I really like mine. Not wild about the S30V though.
