After few attempts I think I found simple way to do knife video review. Talking with my English will not be good anyway, and even if I speak Russian - it take quite a time to say right things in right order correctly. Otherwise it came as static picture of knife and some pointless talking behind.

So I tried to cut talking at all and make it as simple 100 years old silent film. Providing all information I want as text in comment. Turns out that this way nothing really distract attention from actually knife itself and allow better present it in action.

I made few mini video reviews this way - please, have a look:

Excuse me my English - I do not understand you question. Can you rephrase it?

All knives which I tested did cut 200 times 1/2" manila rope, and able to do much more, but I just stop at this number to keep it sane. Most testers cut rope on some board which compromise results - knife get dull even if you slide edge on board without rope. In case witb board numbers will be different and on my opinion more or less random.

I do not really know what hardness is in the edge on my Sniper Blade Works mini LPC - it has differential heat treatment with hamon, so I do not even have a clue. But it holds edge just excellent and looks cool.

Thanks, Vassili.

thanks vassili for the sniper info. some time back i saw a review on this same knife & if i remember correctly the differentially treated 1095 performed like a supersteel & i was curious as to the edge hardness of this model.i believe they said the 1095 at the edge was around 65 on the rockness c scale. i love your videos. do'nt worry about your english the guys seem to get around my spelling.
