The knife couldn't be tightened up and the screws stripped out because they were so soft. It passed the test, didn't break etc, but it was wasted after the test.

I will be fine as long as you don't beat on it.

Don't expect much for Under $30.

I think there is something to be said about that. You can spend a lot more on a knife that will survive these activities repeatedly, or you can spend a fraction for a knife that will survive them once (and consider it disposable)...for the guy that probably will never do this type of activity, or may have to but only in a once in a life time emergency, perhaps this knife gets the nod?
