Video - Swamp Rat M9 Beating and Shaving

I've posted these on the Swamp Rat forums too, but thought I'd share with the rest of the Busse clan...

Video 1 - Splitting some yellow box hardwood. Splits nice and easy. A a chunk of hardwood is no match for a Swamp Rat M9 paired with a rubber mallet! :)

Video 2 - Bashing it through another chunk of hardwood. I have bashed this knife through at least 20 or so chunks of wood similar to this since the last sharpen. As you can see, it still shaves like a razor!

Those videos are confidence inspiring. I'm amazed at how you whack the tip of the knife while it's wedged in that hard piece of wood (second video) and it doesn't snap off.
 
Love the vids Rob. You may want to apologize to your mallet. I don't think it liked that kind of abuse. :p

I would have thought that a "Metal Band" type would have beaten the M9 through with his forehead ......:eek::D
 
Nice Rob! I too like the shaving part, also enjoyed the chop stix in the first video, sushi tonight?
