Took out the RMD today and did a short field test. It's going to be an awesome camp blade, one that you would carry in addition to a large chopper. Being it's a very light blade for it's size at just 10.7 oz it's not a chopper. It batons extremely well though and the steel holds an edge very well.

ankerson you can certainly do some chopping. after this last weekend i appreciate the hand--eye coordination required to do efficient cutting. guess i'll try to get in more practice. one thing is when on my knees i'll wear a lanyard since i do'nt want to stick a femoral artery.as always your vids are tops.
