Took the Rucki out on a camping trip this weekend and used it to process firewood, when i first started out it was a De-limbing Master, It sliced the limbs of like a laser. the video was shot sometime later after the razor edge had been worn away, but it still chopped faster than my buddy's ax.

Sorry for the sideways video, but that's how my girlfriend shot it with her phone :)
 
Cool stuff. Definitely keeping my eye out for one on the knife exchange. Initially wanted a waki, but I think the rucki is the better way to go. Seems to be a trade off. It seems much better for the branches than an axe since it is much lighter and easier to wield, though the chopping bit seems tiring. Just too much power needed behind the blade. Still a sweet knife and the fact it can do this and a ton more is nice.

Yeah, For the weight, It really suprised me with how deep it bites, speaking of tiring, i was also wearing 20Lbs of rifle plates when i did this :D

Ah. Thought that was just a chest rig to hold things. Still did good though. The more I think about it, the more impressive the knife is. Considering how narrow, in either direction, the blade is, it really did bite deep. Looks like a fun knife to have around, especially in this configuration.
 
HaHa, No. I had the rucki sheath attached to the Armor before I left the house, and I like to do Active things with it on to get used to wearing it.
 
Thank for the vidio,,Love the SR Rucki so much i horded 9 of them and use one of them for opening up trails in the woods,I have the 2 Wakis but the Rucki just feels better in the hand for working, its very well balance and have always digged the aggressive point of the blade
