THANK-YOU VERY MUCH!!!

That was an incredible piece of art you gusy made. Great music, great show, it was amazing! Double balisong was probably my favorite :) Makes me really crave a balisong now...

If I ever move to the States, the first 2 things i'll buy are a .45 and a balisong :)

Keep up the good work you guys, and edge-u-cate us more on these things. Have you shown the video to Michael Janich?

Neat stuff. I have always wanted to see this famous Balisong flipping stuff but haven't met anyone who could do it. So it was nice to finally catch some action even though I only saw the first minute or so. The download takes forever on a 56k. Is this video only on windows media or do you have hard copies too?

Thanks for the compliments guys, im glad you enjoyed it...

unfortuanley it was recorded using webcams so the only way you'll be able to watch it is on the PC...

I have another 2 vids edited together on the internet, let me find the links to them and i'll post them...

WOW, VERY impressive!!:)

You could make a video or dvd and sell it. Not only this little staged competition but also an instructional step by step on how to do those tricks with a balisong. I know I'd love to know how you did that. All I know is how to open and close it quick, both(open/close together) in under one second, but I think it would be cool to be able to do those fancy tricks too. Teach us!!

good job!

Nice moves Heath, and Kiem.:)

Thanks for putting all your time and effort into making the video(s).

All you need to go from the computer to a Videotape is the right video card. Or you could see if someone around the forums has one and would be willing to put it together for you.

I have never understood the knife twirling thing...do we twirl it for a minute before we use the knife in a SD situation ?
Sort of like twirling a single-action Colt...WHY ?

Icon: When I watched your video, I realized what a klutz I still am with a bali--but I'm trying. Very nice job. It was a pleasure to see your handling techniques. Now--I'm out to buy some more bandaids and get back to practicing again.

Well, the twirling and all is fun, but could also be applied as a scare tactic to intimidate the offender into not attacking.

but if i ever did have to use it for self defense i would prolly just hold it closed in my hand and start punching, it would help make a harder fist, plus its there in my hand in case things do get out of control.

If i did have to open it to use it a SD situation though, i know about 12 different quick action 'opens' that are all less than a second that would get it open so i could get the job done....

Only an idiot would twirl something in a self-defense situation  ...the more you practice with something, the more comfortable you are with it and the more comfortable you are with it, the more effective it becomes.
