Hello guys,
I did my first WIP in video about a blade I been working in these last days.

Hope you enjoy it.

It also runs fine in HD and full screen.

That is quite the process....absolutely beautiful blade! Thanks for sharing your craft......

Hey Manuel, was that just water you poured on the steel as you were twisting? What is the purpose behind that? Scale removal?

Thanks a lot guys!

Thanks Al for that, I edited the link now.

Mason, the water is to control de degree of twisting of different areas, as that part cools it won't twist or will but in a lower degree.

WOW! Beautiful pattern--love the organic intricacy. I don't remember seeing L6 and 5160 together as Damascus components before--a couple of very tough steels. That should make an excellent performer as well as a gorgeous blade.

Great video, Manuel--thank you for posting that.

No one does the twist like Manuel! Beautiful work, inspiring video - thank you for sharing it with us!

Excellent video and an even better blade. Can't wait to see the rest.

Really enjoyed the first song in Portuguese, it's got a great sound.

Bladesmiths noble friends, every day I'm here watching and learning before knives amazing, but I do not dare to comment because my knowledge is negligible.
Today however, I break the silence because I want to thank the friend Manuel Quiroga by inspiring video.
Many thanks to Manuel and all for sharing your knowledge.

Ps. I apologize for the text, I do not speak english!
