Videogame question: Ark Survival Evolved

Not being able to get out like I'd prefer, and stuck in the house far more often, I've been spending time on video games, specifically Ark: Survival Evolved.

For anyone that plays this game, specifically the Island map, what's a good place to park a mosasaur so those damn megalodons don't keep coming up and biting it? Maybe somewhere that can be fenced off with stone gates? Because every little bit those stupid sharks come in, nip on its tail, and I have to go in and bring it right back to base.
