hi, there

i am new to knife.
please tell me more about "viele" model,if it means a model of Spyderco. there are 3 small holes and a logo (i donot know how to describe) on the leftside of "Spyderco round hole" and underneath the spine of blade.

thank you

The logo is the Chinese(Japenese?) God of War Symbol. That knife has vexed me for sometime. Its a tad small for my hands, but its action is to die for. Pretty knife. Its on my list of thigs to get, but some of the more functional models are before it. As an "adornment" its on the top of the list. I blew my wad recntly on some rifles, so the knives got shuffled around a bit, but the Howard Viele is a great knife. Get one, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

The Viele is the only Spyderco that feels as good in the dark as in the light of day (One of the tests of a good woman). It is sleek and slender and tapered. Its lines are sculptured and fit my hand perfectly. It is my favorite Spyderco.

thanks for your advice.
you are right. it's the Japanese' God of War symbol as i surfed around some website and got the same information. a nice knife in its class, i might get one soon. ;)

The Viele is an extremely nice knife. A bit like a gentlemans folder with attitude.

Brembo is right the action is one of the slickest out there. You almost just have to think the word open, and it is.
