I'm sure this is useless information to most of you, but yesterday I stopped in the local sporting goods store(Dunham's) and down the camping isle I find a rack of Vietnam looking tomahawks with a nylon sheath covering the head. $14.99. Just found it odd to find a "tactical type" hawk instead of camping hatchets and axes.

Sorry, did mean to sound offensive. Just saying I've never seen a "tomahawk" before in any store around here. Usually camping hatchets and axes. I carry my hawk with me too when doing outdoor activities. Not a very common site around my neck of the woods.

No name was on it. Just a 14.99 price tag. Was rather lite when I picked it up. The haft appeared to be of poor quality wood. I was interested in the sheath, haha. Just thought I would throw it out to you guys.

I've seen those before. I figured they were Cold Steel. The ones I saw all had loose handles.
