Vietnam macvsog replica or SOG Fusion Fixation ?

That knife looks like total crap. The blade is tarnished, the grip looks funny and the butt does not appear to be very solid.

I think that this knife will not help you to survive or "combat" anything. The blade will break or detach from the grip the first time you try chopping with it is my guess.

Spend the extra $20.

Agreed with Ka-bar. My Ka-Bar is still razor sharp and solid as ever, after 9 years of use, including usage as hard work utility knife / hatchet in Finnish army. Ka-Bar is reliable in my experiences.

I'd suggest to look at Ka-bar, Coldsteel, or Ontario.

+1 for the Kabar or Ontarios in that price range.

Of course, you should remember that cheap knives can also be their own punishment. Get a knife that identifies its steel, otherwise you might be pot metal.

If you actually thought you would be using it for honest blood letting combat, you wouldn't want a failure, would you? What would that $25 knife you asked about be worth to you then?
