Had a cousin who served in country and was glad to see the Schrade brand attached to this memorial.

BTW - Since I am new to pics please let me know if I am posting boring, redundant or otherwise lame shots.

Nope, keep posting! Great pics of a great knife. I've tried to snatch one of those off the bay several times with no luck. Treasure it!
 
This is the knife I have. What year did you get yours? I got mine sometime in the 90's from my Snap On tool dealer.

I do not remember when or where I got this knife. That said, I never really knew about [except for the d'holder/schrade ads that ran in Blade or one of the other knife mags in the late 1990s] the "special edition" type Schrade models until I discovered this forum and e-bay [probably around 2006].

My guess is I got it at a knife show or off e-bay sometime in 2008. Pretty sure I paid about $60-70 because that seemed like a great deal to me at the time - have not seen any since and, given my luck, would guess that price is probably less than $60.
