The Baer brothers and ISC were well known to be supporters of NGOs and other charities raising funds for conservation, historic preservation etc.
Here is a commemorative I just came across which is especially nice though obscure, All I know about them is what is revealed in the knife, packaging and papers of an unmolested example. The hinged top box has a nicely done laser engraving on the lid. The inside of the lid holds a photograph of the memorial. The flocked tray is inleted to hold the knife and a coined bronze replica of the purple heart medal. It was serialized and issued in 1993. original price and quantity is so far unknown.
