I've had a renewed interest in axes and 'hawks as of late, specifically battle hatchets and Viking era throwing axes. Does anyone offer something along these lines? I'm a fan of the Viking series and would like a working model. Thanks!

A quote from Confucius,on the subject of "viking" axes:

"Buy you books, send you to school, and all you do is look up teacher's dress!".

I don't have a better picture of it, but the axe is an Allan Foundry Viking Bearded Axe with a little sanding and oiling. I got mine from the Ragweed Forge, I haven't run across anyone else who sells it though I haven't really been looking. It's a nice pattern for cutting with the wood grain, and it's based on one recovered from Gotland.
