viking padlocks

Hello

Well... this weekend I did some thinkering and now I have two working viking type iron padlocks to show. irate:
Both are made in the traditional way, by hammering no welds or other fancy stuff.
Hope you guys like them.

Thanks guys.
These are very simple things, there is no hidden lockwork, only that spring on the "U" shaped piece of steel. That has to be pushed from the inside, to open the padlock.
I found the padlock pattern on the internet of course

I just can't get over how some people think and the things they come up with that just boggles ones mind when I just have to strain my mind to think what I want to have for lunch let alone think far enough ahead to think what I am going to fix for supper.! I know { I keep asking myself ""what mind"".??? } but then some how I survive to live another day and strain again for a new day.! Life goes on as we wait for the end to come.**
