Vikings on history channel

A Becker Seax would be really cool! Ethan, what do you think? Maybe a BK7 or BK9 with a seax style blade?
 
Love that show! But I don't think a Becker would work for it tho... Doesn't stop me from having my BK9 next to me while I watch! Lol
 
Great show, I'm addicted to Vikings. My humble opinion that the Becker of choice would be the BK-4 Machax for the ease of lopping off heads!!
 
I find it very interesting to see the different way they would carry their weapons.....buschcrafters way.
 
it's an awesome show. I have no idea why it's on history. that channels gone way downhill on actual historical content.
 
I watch the show, but I'm fairly sure Vikings didn't speak in really bad British accents. I'm having a hard time getting past that.
 
I found Danes to sound remarkably American like when they spoke English last time I was in Europe
 
This is the only show on television that makes me wish I still had a TV.

Go figure.


And yes a Seax would be a nice addition. A working knife for centuries.

The Seax came in many different forms and sizes. Some tiny. Some sword length. There were clip points, drop points and some seaxes even looked remarkably like our Bowie Knives.

Other channels like Starz would add borderline pornographic content.

I wish the show would have some Elkhounds roaming around the villages or on the longships. Real Vikings have elkhounds.
 
I enjoy the series, probably due to having worked for a Norwegian company with shops in the US and Mexico. There is nothing like seeing homes and buildings built before the US was even populated.
 
Agreed wolf...and i still think a seax becker should be in the making...ETHAN?!...i ll buy that in a heart beat!!!
