Okay, does anyone know who makes the axes for the show? YEARS ago, I worked on a design with Justin Gingrich on a 'tomahawk', but it's lines were much more 'Viking', myself always being proud of my Scandinavian heritage. I originally called it a "Halberd Hawk", which OLD posts will show. I than realized it was much more like a mini-Bardiche in shape. Unfortunately, I no longer have more than a basic membership here (Duluth, MN...if you live around here and know the economy, you know why). Regardless, I still love the design. Lack of money kept me from having it made. Justin was awesome, but it was right on the cusp of his "fame" (which is well deserved), and I simply couldn't afford the (roughly) $400 in 2005/2006 to have it made with the materials I wanted. Still, on the program, "Vikings", I love Ragnar's small fighting axe with a passion. Does anyone know who made it, or could for a reasonable price. (I am a user first and a collector second, but I only collect pieces that COULD be used, so no "mall ninja" comments please.) Thank you!:)

if you look through the credits there is mention of a sword master. I don't have cable so I watched it on history . com.

I have no idea, but that show is freakin' awesome. The History Channel has just blown the usually cheesy, "historical drama" genre out of the water with this one.

Completely agree!!! They have really stepped up to the plate with this show as it is well done and appears that a lot of effort went into it's production.

We here at H & B Forge have already been asked to duplicate it for a customer. Give us a call and we can make one for you too!

So I reckon after I get that custom Spontoon Tomahawk, I'll probably end up with one of those too.

I enjoy the show, but I wish they would use the correct bows for the period and people. The show is done so well why not make it right?

Yes, many of the axes are modern ones as well. A bit disappointing, really.

edit to add: Dude with the Pokemon shield in some of the first eps. is awesome though!

Someone bought this axe? And picture?

I am thinking of having this one made......

What is the best handle fitt Wedged ore tomahawk fitt?
