Here is an unusally nice village style BAS. About 15 inches overall, 3/8 thick, and 1 pound 2 oz. The fit is quite good and the finish is excellent for a village model. Nice scrollwork and brass inlay.The kami has the blade hardened up to 58 or 59 Rc and the edge will take a couple of hairs off my arm. I am pretty impressed with this knife. It's a good one.

The karda and chakma are typical village quality and really do not belong with such a good blade but that's how they do it.

Scabbard is excellent for a village model and the frog is okay.

actually i have been eyeing this one, Uncle, but i've persuaded myself that maybe i've bought enough khukuris for one month.

i just hope somebody buys it soon...
