Villager #6. Ugly little 12 incher for $39.95.

Here is an ugly little 12 inch village model that weighs about 14 oz. The fit is okay and although grind marks are visible from one end of the blade to the other there are no fold lines or hammer marks. I figure the edge is about 56 or 57 Rc. These villagers are a little softer than usual and I am wondering if Pradeep got them all down in the terai where they sometimes make them a little softer than in the hill country. Anyway, the karda and chakma are just about useless but the scabbard and frog look to be HI made and are acceptable. Oh yes, there are a couple of small cracks on the handle that a little superglue would probably fix, epoxy for sure.

So, how much for this ugly little villager? Let's try a weekend special price of $39.95 and be like K-Mart! Except we deliver to your door and K-Mart doesn't .

Come on guys: this is like having an extra Savage model 24 over-under 22 long rifle/20 gauge. In fact, if you have a Savage 24, get this ugly little 12 incher and tuck it in alongside the gun.

No, there ain't nothin' it can do better than another khuk made for a specific purpose, but like the Savage 24, if it's all ya got it'll do more than a lotta folks think. I got a village 13 1/2 incher that I do believe I'm gonna go put inside the case that holds my own Savage mod. 24 in 22lr/20ga.
