Pala must be a "A" type personality, he doesnt seem to stop working, even after having surgery. Lucky for us, since hes turning out some nice and unique stuff :)

Wait till i post Pala's Gelbu Special in a short while.
The best handle bar none !:thumbup::thumbup:

Gee...Pala, you don't fluff around!
From the operating table straight on to the grinder:D
My type of guy!

Thank you all for the kind words and good thoughts

Go Pala! Glad you are at it already.

I do hope someone will post a picture of the "Beer Mug" Mark of Tirtha's for me someday...

Way to go Pala:thumbup: Just don't hurt your recovery.
I could write a book about all the things I've done while I should have been "recovering" so this Pot ain't gonna call the Kettle black.

Warty, beer mug mark? Please I don't need any more criteria for my next Khuk.

Look at Yangdu's description, I am merely using her words...

That is his mark, I just haven't had the pleasure of seeing one of them posted yet for my records.

Warty, more of a joke than anything else. I brew my own beer so it would have some significance for me.

Back when I was able to drink, I did too... alas, many transfusions and a bit of Hep C later, I cannot take the risk of further liver damage. :(
So I sold all my brewing equipment and books and kept all my secrets to take with me to my grave... and I have some great recipes too.
I still have a few buds begging me for them, now and then I give them hints to keep them on the right track. ;)

Warty, you should self publish a home brewing book with your recipes. Then, you can profit from it.

Yangdu, I hope Pala will stay here, in the USA, and pass down some of his knowledge to some lucky individual(s).
I'd hate for him to take his art to his grave some(hopefully a LONG time from now) day.

not so sure that they would sell. too many of those already out there and it isn't like I was famous outside of my group of brewing/drinking buddies. I had just been doing it the longest so had a few more ideas and was willing to take a few more chances on having to toss out a batch if it was horrible than most of them were... that is how you wind up with the good stuff in the end. That and I was all grain, no cans for me. I actually was growing my own barley and malting it for a while (not ALL of it though, still had to buy some). Never could get hops to grow right though, I guess the mid-west wasn't the right climate.

Do you go in in another week and get the other eye done then Pala? I drove a friend to get his laser surgeries, he is about your age, says he see's like a kid again, that was nine years ago and his eye's have had No problems since and he is my flying buddy.

He already had the other eye done a few weeks ago. Auntie is making sure he gets his million mile overhaul.
