That looks like a great camping tool:thumbup:

Packable and capable:)

I like it. I really like that M43 style handle. The more I see that style handle, the more I like it.
I'm with warty, I really like the villager finish on these Khuks. Low maintenance. Low glare, and I don't have to blue the blade to get it.
The Estwing hatchet must have been for the small stuff. None of my hatchets have ever split firewood into kindling as well as my khuk. And that's with the Indo Khuk. The HI BC is about 2x as thick at the spine and weighs 2x as much. Just imagine.
If I wasn't out of work sick right now, I'd shark that CAK. I'm still thinking about it.

I'd kind of like to see the AK Bowie and the HI ultimate cleaver both in villager finish. Lowers the price and time/labor required to make it. Plus, I don't have to feel guilty about using it and dulling the finish.

I'm liking the black villager finish we're starting to see more on the regular Khuks vs the Tamang.

Nice looking rig!

These things are tough as it gets folks, It should make a beast of a chopper.
Made by a kami noted for the quality of his blades.
Amazing price for the amount of steel and craftmanship you'll get.

I cann't believe no one has picked up on this. I would, but I already have several Murali blades about this same size.

Murali makes great knives that feel "right", metalurgy is superb, and are definately meant for field use.

IMHO YMMV

I would have sharked it but I missed 3 days from work this week (sick), and I have to buy my wife's B-day present soon.
Plus, I'm waiting to see how the Rambo 4 knives turn out. I may(will probably) have to use my money for one of those.
