Purna First prize Khukri! Purna Rocks!

I got a Purna Dui Chirra and I was just tugging your leg. I still love you too, not in any mano mano way ya understand.

Actually I might have to check. When I completed my Thamar chirra trifecta I might have given the Dui to an officer here.

Email sent on Lacchu Gelbu Special and Purna Chainpuri.

I'm delighted that Purna is back. Of the current kamis, Purna and Kumar are my favorites. I would include Thamar, except that he doesn't make as many different models, at least not yet. No disrespect to the kamis that I didn't name; they are all great.

Oh man that Gelbu is sweet! Grats David. I was definitely considering it. Just the right length too!

Oops, my email didn't go through, due to a typo. I just sent it again. Hopefully still in time.

Nope, somebody got both blades ahead of me.

I missed that GS! Darn it, I was stressing at my new job, only my 2nd day.

It's alright, once I get in the saddle, I'll be all over these DOTDs.

Cul gots a new job? I'm trying to get shed of my old one, I'm used up.

Don't know what I want to be next though.

Your not used up, they love you there!

I was an independent contractor in finance and operations, for the last 25 years or so, pushing myself, doing 90 to 120 hours a week, working from home, onsite, etc... Trying to make that $$$ for my family, that I knew I'd have sooner or later (in my case, it was later). Took last year off, due to "burnout", and because my wife demanded I take some time off to relax and spend time with my daughter. A friend of mine came up to me about a week ago and offered me a controller position for a Boat repair yard, and restaurant for decent compensation, so I decided to take it. I can leave when I want, hours flexible, and great life/work balance ethic, as policy. It seems to be working out. I just hate the steep learning curve that comes with a new job. I get the use of 7 boats (Bayliners) to go fishing, free meals at the restaurant, and a nice view from my corner office, so, it isn't quite so painful. I also can get free maintenance, and slip to use, unfortunately, I don't own a boat...lol

See its hard to tell which ones are made where as i noticed the majority are from around nepal. High quality. Ill have to keep a keen eye out now.

If a Chainpuri says from Chainpure, then it's not HI made but was inspected and purchased by HI for sale. If it lists a kami name than it is HI made.

And the Chainpuri's from Chainpure are pretty nice too. If HI buys it to sell, it meets some standards. Most are more villager finish but good working knives and some are pretty fancy too.
