21 inch 30 ounce villager Chitlangi by Sher the (Tiger) with all usual Sher features. Himalayan black walnut wood handle. Field sharp. Great buy at $125 YBB.

Email to order

I think thats an awesome looking Chit Yangdu. And I've certainly got Chit fever, but I'd better not.

Guys, That walnut handle is gorgeous, and look at that brass inlaid villager. Yummy!

Dang....I absolutely love villager Chitlangis...they are rare...and I never seem to have any cash on hand! :grumpy:

Anyway...congrats to whomever gets this one - tis a beauty!

The handle will be stunning with a little oil and work. Another finished handle, villager blade combo. Wish I could jump on it, but I just can't do it today. . :grumpy: Guess I'll have to go jump on my own chitlangi.

Me too!
I think the email sent...

very very nice :) you'll be very happy with it. if not, you know where to find me ;) and thanx for buying, since you save me.

since nobody else said it, READ the SAFETY thread :) this looks to be good and sharp!

and sigh. being unemployed is not fun. one of these days, i'm going to have to call auntie yangdu and see what she has for something JUST like this, possibly with standard bolsters, but the wood? the villagerized? the silver fittings? nice. a 24 incher though. don't have any 24 inchers. :)

Seeing this makes me sad that I sold mine (wanted a 18in AK instead). Chitlangis are just so lively and the fullers just look amazing in person. Who ever gets this one will get a real winner.

What a nice khuk! Hope you get it, futant. Met with a college finance guy yesterday; probably won't be buying much for the next few years. :( :grumpy:

Very nice.
Email sent.
:)
It would be my first khukuri...

Man o man, if you snagged that one you will be a happy man. That is some beautiful Chit right there.:D

I am broke as a joke, but I considered dropping the hammer on this one. Perfect size, perfect weight, great looking handle just begging to be oiled up. Double fullered blade just waiting for an etch. Great stuff

Thank you all for the positive comments, makes me feel like I found the one.
Been running around all night, hopefully it's still there for me in the morning.
And thank you Bladite, I have read the safety thread but I'll do it again just to remind myself of which end is the dangerous one.

You should definitely post some pics of that when you get it. Not enough people do.

By the way, has anyone noticed that Yangdu's photography just keeps getting better and better? It makes these blades darn near impossible to resist!!:)

If it's anything like the last villager I got it is SHARP!!!! Only thing I've done to the edge is run it down a strop a few times and it will take hair off. Is it me or are the villager models sharper out of the triangle box than the mirror finish models?

Villagers rock. Right out of the box they fairly beg to be used often and well. Their mirror polished counterparts are every bit as tough, but villagers just have a rough and ready aura about them that says git 'r done.

If a villager BAS pops up anytime soon, y'all best not let me see it first. ;)

Congrads man! I have to admit, I'm not normally a big fan of the Chits, but there's something about this one... Thank you for saving me from myself. I was seriously considering snagging this one despite my promise to wait til next year before getting anything else (Kerambits are excluded from that rule :D ).
