I'm hoping that someone who owns both of these knives will do a comparative review. I have a Farmcata and I love the handle and the way it meets the blade.

I have two questions: How are these in the kitchen and how comfortable is the handle? Thanks.

I havent actually used one in the kitchen, but i imagine they would work quite well. They are pretty much a Farm knife with a different handle. At first i thought the handle was odd and homely. It has grown on me immensely. To me they are as comfortable as any of my khukuri.

Yes, i have a few more non-blems. They will be sold at the same price as the linked thread in Post #1.
You can probably special order one from Auntie after these are gone though, you would have to contact her for pricing and availability though.

...How are these in the kitchen...?

A review by bgz101 (owner of the very first Farmcata):
Farm Knife in the Kitchen

Just tried out the Farm Knife (aka Farmcata) in the kitchen . .

It sliced super thin slices off the onion easy as can be.

The cut of these onions is not the result of 'chopping', but simply thin slices . . . . I did chop more after this and it did a great job.

The knife did not feel over-sized for the task. Very controllable and easy to use.
