Here is the first of the village models -- a very tough little Chainpuri style, about 15.5 inches, 3/8" thick, and weighs in at about one pound. Fit is good but finish is far from HI quality, grind marks clearly visible entire length of the blade. Scrollwork and brass inlay pretty sloppy. The maker is a kami, not a Sunar. Karda poor quality and missing chakma. Scabbard okay. HI superfrog looks like overkill on this rig.

This is a very tough little knife. My old file tells me the edge is 59 or 60 Rc and although maybe not razor sharp it's very sharp.

The cost for this rig is $55 delivered to your door. If you have to have a karda and chakma with it ask and I'll try to dig up a set althougth I'm not sure I have anything small enough to work with this scabbard.

As usual call or email if interested. First man in rings the bell on this one.

Sorry it took me so long, old age is setting in and makeing me slow. HAHA
I've been wanting one of these for a long time!
Thank you Uncle Bill!
Terry
I'll be sending you a Walnut handled WWII model Monday.
Take care.

Uncle,
Terry will be unable to work on khukuris for a while. I'm fixin to break his one typing finger. Ha! ha! He is going to have to get us a bigger house to hold khukuris and critters.
Hope all is well in Reno. Tell Yangdu Hi!! Oh, your trailer lot became vacant again the other day. When are you moving? We will start digging Yangdu's storm shelter!!"S" No really there is a church across the street that everyone goes to for shelter. Nothing like prayers and protection!

You're a lucky man, Terry. Your wife knows all about your khukuris and she's only going to break one of your fingers.

NEPAL HO!

mohd,
Good Morning, After another K, can't get enough can we?? Just how many Vill. do you have in your collection?? are they your fav. users??
thanks,
jim

Jim --- I have 1 unit 20" Village Chainpuri ... YES! It is my favourite one for any rough use simply because it is the cheapest one (please do not compare it's price with Kagas Katne's price)! It is sharp and strong --- I think it's sharp edge is slightly more than 58 RC ... maybe 60 RC (Pakcik Bill knows better than me). I think those Kamis who make Village Khuks always ensure that their Khuks are real strong ... otherwise ... they might be chased by the Villagers who broke their Khuks during their field works! When I received it --- it is the ugliest! --- after few rubs with sandpapers --- it is beautiful! Some of my friends said: "Since it is the cheapest one ... why not you just give it to me as a present!". ...
