This morning I wanted to test the center Villager b4 I sent it out as a gift. The branches are from a Plum tree in my back yard that needed to be removed so this gave me a good chance to cut away with both my user, the blued Villager and the one to be sent of in the next day or so...("probably" or so) both did an excellent job as expected, the blued Villager is a bit more heavy so it cut with more authority and made too quick of work on the green branches...the center Villager feels great in the hand and is more of a light weight blade suited I think more as a defensive tool but whatever the blued Villager cut the center Villager cut as well but just too a few extra swings due to the lighter weight to get the job done...

Those are beautiful blades, Sweet. I love that blued blade. Makes the matte horn look just plain mean. I hope the recipient REALLY appreciates what (s)he is getting.

I liked them too.
Khuks and wood go together. A happy photo every time.

Hello,

I just recieved the Villager above... Very nice knife The photos don't do it justice. Hey what is the small notch at the base of the blade for? I am already brain storming a special sheath for my back pack strap so it will wear like a shoulder holster... Maybe something in Carbon fiber with a plastic insert to protect the blade... What do you think Ben?

I guess I better go camping this weekend so I can try it out... I am thinking maybe Mt. Baldy 8858 ft. It still has snow on top...

Thank you very very much Ben this is the coolest.

Welcome to the Cantina. :) Thats one cool gift you got. Hope you are able to take it camping this weekend. I'm from Southern Cali also and used to love going up to Mt. Baldy for the weekends. Been 15 years since I was there (was 9 years old last time) but still remember it fondly.
