So after seeing the Giant Tin Chirra, I felt like digging out my small Tin Chirra, made by Vim, which I call Vim Tin Tin and show it to you all. Of course with it being 3AM here, the pictures will be indoor ones, at least for now. I will take some outdoor versions when the sun rises so it can really shine... until then, her is what I have for you all...

as you can see, mine is a bit smaller then the Giant...

Tin Chirras just have beautiful lines...

I really hope that the new owner of the Giant Tin Chirra, haptagud, will give us a big photo spread of it as well. I really want some nice detail pix and a few more pictures f the beast since it isn't mine. I especially want to see an In Hand shot of the monster. I bet it is AWESOME to behold indeed!

Congrat! Is this a custom order blade, Warty? Really impressed me. I love the lines and the finishings. Pls share with us the specs.

Vim is that quiet Dhaju that keep churning out some sweet fullered khuks.

IMHO he's very close to Bura's, not quite there yet but he had produced some really outstanding pieces :eek:

Should you see any zombies or draculas, Tin tin is probably the last thing they will ever see.
 
Naw, I bought this from another person and have had it a while...
Specs to follow with the added pix as the sun rises...
 
The Stats are OAL 15.5", Spine is 1/2" and I don't have a scale but it isn't a really heavy blade at all... fullers make it nice and light. Then I went out and took some sunlight shots so you could really see it a lot better.

My DuiChirra is also from Vim BTW. Love it.
 
Great pics as usual Warty. Vim Kami's chirras are killer, my FF proves it (still gotta take it for a proper test drive though...).
 
Well, this is a Tin or Three Chirra or Fuller and you are both talking Dui or Two which isn't the same and actually doesn't really look the same either. A dui chirra is something like a YCS with less belly...

Really nice blade Warty. Congrat! I love everything, the chirras, the fuller and the wood handle.

I know it's a tin chirra, but i'm attracted to fullers in general. that's why I prefer the dui chirra -- the fullers look "fuller" and more defined. But the tin chirra is the hotness, too.
 
I just got two triangular boxes. When I opened the box with my 18" M-43 my brother commented how much he liked it. Then I opened the one with the 16.5" Dharan Tin Chirra and he said he liked it. When I asked him which one he wanted as an early Christmas present it took him about a minute to pick the Tin Chirra.
 
It is actually a Satisal handle that the previous owner stripped and made pretty.
I had no work to do when I bought it, which I must say, was really nice for a change. :)
