Theres one of them inlayed Chainpur Bawanna! Beautiful wood. Nice Karda too...big un!

Guy just sent me 50 bucks for some grip work, 45 more plus shipping and that chainpuri would be mine. It's perfect. Like the length the big pommel, and the sheath brings tears to my eyes.

Alas I don't think the needed 60 bucks is gonna happen in time.

Dang was too slow ems on Vim Karda but I see I was behind John T. Ah, well getting closer. At least I saw it BEFORE it got posted sold this time <GRIN>. I am getting closer and closer... Soon, one WILL be mine!! LOL

The Chainpuri's are beautiful. Great balance, I can't compare them to an HI kami made khuk as I don't have any yet, but they are really beautifully made.

lol same here shav I was aiming for the vim karda, sad I missed it, good buy for whoever wins these

Ill paypal it to ya right now if you want it! Least I can do. Besides i ow you a dollar and somethin anyway:D

As expected,
Auntie just responded with
KK is Long Gone. Sorry!

Ah well, it is early days yet. I am still having fun with the DotDs while I wait to hear one the other blades I asked Auntie about has come in from Nepal.

Don't get discouraged, if you wait long enough you'll eventually find a DOTD with exactly what you're looking for at just the price you're looking to pay. And you'll be the first in line! Odd how it always works out that way, but it sure does seem to in the long run.

How true. I've heard it said many times, we don't find the blades, they find us.

Aunti had a bunch of them about a month ago and they went like hotcakes. I bet you wont have to wait long for another. Ill watch for ya Shavru!

I had a chance at the Vim KK, but alas, funds are a little short, to pick that one up, but as they say, it's just not meant to be.

Shavru, I am by far a rather "poor" shark, but when the planets and my funds align just right, a blade that I want, always seem to appear, and like those before me said, I was first in line! I have about 17 HI blades, love them all, and they somehow found their way to me, I do not check in as much as others, but I still have been very fortunate to shark those blades that seem to "sing" to me.

I truly believe that these blades somehow find a way to their rightful owners, whether it is karma or fate, it does seem to happen a whole lot more than just coincidence.

Hehe, Trust me, I am no where near unhappy. I am here for the long term and I will be very happy when I do get my first blade. In the meanwhile, I am still enjoying learning more and more about the different styles and wonderful variation of uses. Auntie has already told me that "Keshar Lal Kami is making the villager utility knives right now. This knife shipment from Nepal will arrive here in couple of weeks" So I am hoping to be in line to buy one of those at regular price with "extra" income I received this paycheck.

As for the DotDs when it is right blade and right budget, it will happen. I am patient and will get the one that is right for me eventually :)

Thanks for all the good thoughts guys, I appreciate them
