Has anyone heard anything new about the release of the Vindicator? I heard it's a Blue Ridge exclusive and only a few hundred will be produced.

If I wasn't saving up to go to the USN gathering I'd have one on the way. I really like the blade shape. It looks like a CQC-15 without the tanto tip, very cool:thumbup:

This one is a beauty. The blade is centered and the lock up is perfect. The blade grind is one of the best I've seen and it is one of the sharpest knives out of the box that I've ever had.

COOL! Thanks for posting a picture. Any chance you can post a couple more pictures? Can't wait till mine arrives on Friday via UPS.

I was on the top of a step ladder so I'd get a better photo of the knife that was sitting on the top of a large wood post. The sun kept going behind the clouds and that's why the cooler tone in a few photos.

The Patriot has a slight recurve to the blade and if you want to call the grind notch a choil, the Patriot has one too.

The notch in the Patriot blade is a fraction of the size of that gap in the Vindicator.

The same grind notch is called a choil on all my Striders blades, I'm not sure why the Vindicator would not use the same terminology.

Actually, now that I look at those posted pics, the notch or choil or whatever does not look like the original pics I saw. Those pics look almost identical to the Patriot. I don't quite understand why Emerson released a new model that is so close to the Patriot design.

I just realized I'm am idiot (my Wife likes to point this out at times LOL), I was looking at pics of the Zealot, not the Vindicator so forget everything I said.......
