Thanks alohadave but I don't have a url an have tried every drag an drop or copy an paste I can think of. Its a ..... being computer illiterate.

I prefer vine and thorn to the rather blah plain vine pattern.....most buyers do also.

Ok the quick consensus is that I add the thorns. So there in lies the next problem. The vine is center weighted( bigger in middle and smallest at ends) and which way should they point since vine goes from center

I like them down. Just leave the smallest suggestion of thorns at each end, more pronounced in the center. Should look great.

Generally, the thorns point toward the tip.

If you do a double thorn ( front and back of each vine curve) it is called "Barbed Wire". In your case, that may work better. Draw it on with a sharpie and see how it looks.

While it isn't too late to add small thorns now, it is better and easier to cut them in the original file work.

Thoughts before I cut?????? I agree its gunna look better, but now its gunna have a spot for blood an stuff to collect. Not very sterile

Billy(?)- The thorns will make the pattern look much better. Just use an old tooth brush to clean out all the gunk when needed.
Show us some close-ups and a side-on shot as well. Its hard to get a full idea of your work from that one shot.

Nice work so far.

The slots are "V" shaped and pretty shallow. I don't think anything will get trapped. Wash the knife as usual, and scrub the spine if worried.
