vingtage SOG folder - TomCat Jr?

This is a cool little knife I've had for years. I thought I had lost it but it turned up in the pocket of a backpack that I hadn't used for years. Love when that happens.

I would guess I might have bought it in the late 1980s? It came with the sheath shown, which has a SOG label on it that is blacked out.

Anybody know the actual name of this model. It says SOG Specialty Knives on one side and SEKI-JAPAN on the other.

Looks like an Air-SOG to me. But I could be wrong.

sac troop got it! The AirSOG came in a serrated edge version, too. First appeared around 1989 to 1990. The SOG Magnadot "could" be considered the "Tomcat Jr." due to its blade shape which is very similar to the Tomcat's blade shape.

It's a real trip.

..it has been my EDC for a long time (since 2000/2001, I believe)... fantastic: practical, essential and excellent quality.. oh, the old SOG(Seki)!!!
