vintage #115 Sportsman's Set

Hello,

I recently could get a unused vintage
#115 Sportsman's Set, containing the #118 Personal and #103 Skinner.

The tang-stamps are 3-liners (e.g. BUCK, 118, U.S.A.), the butt is pinned from the side, obviously a flat-tang model, and the guard has two fiber spacers (one between the two aluminum parts, one between the handle-scale and the guard). The double-sheath is the flap style sheath.

Can anybody help with a dating?
Does anybody know, when Buck stopped producing the #115 Sportman's Set?

Uli,
The last Buck catalogue that showed the 115 was from 1989. It would be dificult to date the set you have because that particular stamping was used from about 1972 through 1985. If you could show a close up picture, including the stamp and the guard area, I may be able to nail it down a little closer. There were small changes made during that time that may help.
